I offer deep, therapeutic massage that effectively treats and heals chronic muscle pain so you can feel great in your body again. Conveniently located in downtown Santa Cruz.
Specializing in Swedish, deep tissue/clinical, sports, trigger point release, myofascial release, and prenatal massage.
I am very dedicated to giving my clients the highest quality services that are tailored to their unique needs. I would be honored to have an opportunity to earn your trust and give you one of the best massages you have ever received.
At body•ful I understand the need to reduce transmission of the COVID-19 virus. I am keeping my Santa Cruz office open to support you during this time.
To reduce the risk of transmission, I am following the Santa Cruz County Social Distancing Guidelines, which can be found here:
In particular, I ask that you adhere to the following:
If you are experiencing fever, sore throat, cough or other respiratory symptoms please remain at home and do not come to the Center.
If you are 60 years or older, have diabetes, heart or lung disease, COPD, compromised immunity, or are taking immunosuppressive medication, do not come in. You are at a higher risk of serious complications from the disease if you contract it and should self-isolate to the maximum degree possible.
If you have traveled recently, please self-quarantine for 14 days before coming in for an appoinment.
If you do come in for an appointment we request that you please keep the following in mind:
Hand washing with soap and water for 20 seconds is very effective at limiting the spread of the virus, and we encourage everyone to do so on a regular basis. If soap and water are not available waterless hand sanitizer is a reasonable alternative. Please wash your hands as soon as you arrive and before you leave the Center.
Bring a face mask. Face coverings over your nose and mouth are required while in the Center and for the duration of your massage. If you arrive without one, I will provide one.
You will be greeted at the door and I will use a no-touch thermal temperature reader confirming you don't have a fever. If you feel ill on the day of your appointment, there is no penalty to cancel.
I will continue to sanitize all surface areas and door knobs, in addition to the bathroom, waiting room, and water cooler after each patient with disinfectants registered with the EPA as effective against COVID-19.
A HEPA air purifier will be continuously running along with leaving the widows open to allow for ventilation.
I have reduced hours and online booking is temporarily unavailable, please call or text to schedule an appointment.
Thank you for taking care and I hope to see you again soon. Have a peaceful and creative time as you are "sheltering in place".
Don't wait to make your appointment!
Here's What Clients Are Saying...
"I've been getting massage from Cecily for years. She has great intuition and knowledge of the body accompanied with awesome strength. She has helped me through many back issues. I can't recommend her enough!"
-Lucretia H., Retail Manager
"Cecily is hands down the most intuitive and empathetic massage therapist I have ever met. Very professional in addition to being an all-around kind and generous soul. She excels especially in deep tissue and sports massage as she is one of the few therapists who actually has the strength, refined technique, and endurance required to give the body true deep healing. If you want someone to just rub oil on your skin, look elsewhere. If you want someone that will make your entire body feel brand new, go to Bodyful Massage and let Cecily work her magic on you!"
-Greg B., Musician
"The best massage I've ever had. Cecily is an expert in her field, and truly understands her clients' needs. She was very in tune to where my stress and pain was. I did experience relief from my low back pain for several days after my visit. I definitely plan on returning very soon."
-Kathy B., Travel Agent
"Can't say enough about Cecily and her healing touch. She has a strong and confident technique that leaves you feeling weightless and without a worry. Over the years she has helped me with stress relief, therapeutic massage on a torn rotator cuff, prenatal aches and pains, hip and lower back pain relief. Cecily's complete communication with me and her knowledge of the human body physically and mentally clearly shows her authenticity in her craft."
-Kristen W., Activities Director
"Cecily's approach to bodywork is both intuitive and heart-oriented. She is extremely caring and kind, and her treatments reflect it. She is communicative during treatments, ensuring that she is using a pressure that is comfortable but creates a quiet, contemplative space that encourages going within. I consistently come away from sessions with her feeling energetically refreshed and truly released. Very highly recommend this talented therapist!"
- Sarah K., Santa Cruz Resident
"Just treated myself to a massage by Cecily. I'm an ex-professional cyclist and certified massage practitioner myself. Have had hundreds of massages and I must say Cecily is up there in the top category. She is strong and intuitive in her ability to melt your stress away. Thanks again, Cecily."
-Andy P., Cyclist
"I was new to massage when I received my first one from Cecily. Her professional, warm, and calming presence made me feel very comfortable. She is a wonderful communicator and was sensitive to my individual needs. I was experiencing sciatica at the time and could not find any relief. I felt totally free from any pain or discomfort from my sciatica after only one massage. I would highly recommend Cecily for your massage needs."
-Hilary H., Occupational Therapist

Thank you for visiting my website. I truly believe in the work that I do and I put my heart and soul into every massage. My passion comes through in my touch. I have a very compassionate and intuitive touch that allows me to feel the patterns of tension in the body, often finding tight spots you didn't even know were there. I use intuition along with breath work and mindfulness techniques to increase your awareness and assist the body in its natural ability to heal and relax. The work I do is rooted in my belief that the body already knows how to heal itself, all I do is facilitate that process.
My sessions are very client-centered. You are the expert on your body so I approach each session as a team effort. Your body's wisdom and my technical skill combine to give you a customized treatment specific to your body's needs at that particular time. I am committed to meeting and exceeding the expectations and unique preferences of every client. You can expect that I will communicate with you clearly and listen to you with empathy and non-judgment so you get exactly what you were hoping for. I strive to ensure that no client ever walks away unsatisfied with the massage they received.
I graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and have been practicing since 2010. My comprehensive training includes a variety of modalities: Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and prenatal. I creatively blend these techniques into one fluid massage. Your massage will feel both therapeutic and like a spa treatment. I incorporate hot and cold compresses and aromatherapy to enhance your experience and help you achieve deeper relaxation.
I also have a degree in Nutritional Science from San Jose State. My education allows me to have a more holistic perspective on the body and informs my approach to massage. When I am not at work I likely have my nose in a tbook or my feet in the sand. I also enjoy walks on the beach, meditation, hiking in the redwoods with my dog Koa, and cooking for family and friends.
I thank you in advance for trusting me to work with you so you may feel a greater sense of health and vitality in your life.
